Shuttle buses : run from Auckland Airport to Waitakere City , taking about 40 mins. Auckland Airport Shuttle Direct – ph 0800 855 557 www.aucklandairportshuttle.co.nz Shuttle charter $90 Takes up to 11 people Super Shuttle – ph 0800 748 885 www.supershuttle.co.nz Shuttle charter $145 Rate for one person $85, $14 for each additional person in the party Trains: no direct route from airport; closest station Puhinui on main south route, whence it goes into Britomart and there is a change to the westbound train to go to Swanson Railway Station. Takes about 3.5 hours, however, at cost of $11.40. >From Britomart – regular departures during the day, going to Swanson and Waitakere Train Stations. Cost $6.30, time I hour. Buses : run regularly during the day from airport into the city, where there is a short walk to the connecting westbound bus, which ends at Ranui. Cost from airport $21.50. time taken 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on the time of travel. >From Auckland Central (Britomart) – regular departures ending at Waitakere City Civic Centre.
