ECO is one of the oldest environmental organisations in New Zealand, with a hard earned reputation for integrity. We work on a huge number of issues, both in New Zealand and internationally, covering land use issues, oceans management, Antarctica, climate and the atmosphere. As the organisation of conservation and environment groups we also provide support, networking and skills development for a number of smaller organisations. By donating to ECO, you support the whole environmental movement.

Giving to ECO is more important than it has ever been, as environmental and conservation groups around New Zealand gear up for a number of onslaughts, including mining exploration on protected land, changes to the protection of high country, threats to biodiversity from forestry and changes to the Resource Management Act. Please make a donation, so that we can provide the resources needed to help them be as effective as possible.

ECO has recently been granted Charitable status, so any donation you give will be eligible for a tax rebate. Any amount is greatly valued, and regular automatic payments are especially useful as they allow us to budget effectively, to achieve the best result for the environment.

In addition, please consider making provision in your will for ECO. A bequest to ECO will allow your commitment to the environment to continue to be honoured into the future. Amelia Luxton, at the office, can provide material to help you with this.
